On this project a
highly efficient
product, Actis Hybris
was required to hit
a low u-value in
a thinner than normal wall

project are straightforward.
Stairwells can pose
additional problems
depending on the client
requirements regarding
the wall insulation.
Additional considerations
have to be given to
sealing against stair
trimmers if tight against
a wall or ensuring
adequate space is allowed
for if service void
battens are to be fitted.
An Actis Hybris specified
project at St Columb
in Cornwall for the
Kier Group. This was
originally due to be
traditional build, but
the techs at Cornwall Timber
Build managed to supply
a more efficient timber
frame solution.
